Calming a Cold with Essential Oils


Essential Oils Shopping List
  • Lemon
  • Peppermint
  • Eucalyptus
  • Oregano
You can also purchase proprietary blends of essential oils:

  • A blend of essential oils that supports your immune system includes:  orange, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary.
  • A great one that supports your respiratory systems includes: Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Ravensara, and Cardamom.

Protocol

  • 1-2 drops Lemon and 1 drop Protective blend in hot water. Add honey to taste.
  • To reduce fever, apply 1-2 drops Peppermint on bottom of feet, at base of hairline on neck, and on temples.
  • 1-2 drops Respiratory Support Blend, Peppermint and/or Eucalyptus on chest to ease congestion and cough. Dilute with 1 teaspoon coconut oil.
  • 1-2 drops Oregano and 1-2 drops Protective Blend in 8 ounces ice or hot water to boost immunity and therefore shorten cold duration and severity.
  • 5- 10 drops of a respiratory blend of oils, Peppermint or Eucalyptus in inhaler. Inhale as needed to ease congestion.
  • Diffuse a your protective essential oils blend at night, and Respiratory Support Blend, Peppermint or Eucalyptus in the day.
  • Apply a your protective blend of essential oils on bottom of feet and behind ears every 3-4 hours.
